Sunday, May 12 (Mother's Day), from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, the Hillsboro-West End Neighborhood Association holds its third annual Garden Tour, "Blossoms and Bungalows." Ticketholders can visit creative, urban landscapes in one of Nashville's premier historic neighborhoods at this family-friendly event.

The tour start location is the corner of Blair Boulevard and 25th Avenue, South, Nashville, TN  37212. Please check in at the ticket tent to receive your tour wristband and guidebook.

Tickets are $10 per person, online (plus online processing fee) or at the ticket tent. Children age 12 and under are admitted for free.

This year's event will feature charming residential gardens on a strollable route, Certified Tennessee Naturalist Joanna Brichetto, "The Bug Doctor" Ellie Lopez Ph.D., the Portland Park Pollinator Patch, vintage automobiles, and special surprises along the way. For the young and young at heart, historic MNFD Station No. 16's new fire engine will make an appearance from 1:30 to 2:30!

Special Notes:

The tour is approximately one mile long, exclusive of Portland Park and Vanderbilt University. Walking shoes are recommended, due to stepping stones and some irregular and narrow paths. While walking the route can be done, you may prefer driving to outlying sites. Residential gardens are not wheelchair or stroller accessible. Animals are not allowed. HWEN may take photographs of this event for promotional purposes; your ticket purchase acknowledges that your likeness may appear in a photograph.

* All ticket sales are final, and refunds will not be given for any reason. The Garden Tour is a rain or shine event. In the event of weather so severe that the May 12 tour has to be completely cancelled for safety reasons, there may be a smaller tour on May 19. Any updates will be published on the HWEN website,
