"A FRESH START" GARDEN TOUR
On Sunday, May 14th* (Mother's Day), from 1:00 - 4:00 PM, the Hillsboro-West End Neighborhood Association will hold its second annual Garden Tour. Ticketholders can visit creative, urban landscapes in one of Nashville's premier historic neighborhoods at this family-friendly event.
The tour start location is the corner of Blair Boulevard and 25th Avenue, South, Nashville, TN 37212. Please check in at the ticket tent to receive your tour wristband and guidebook.
Tickets are $10 per person (plus an online processing fee), and children 12 and younger may attend free of charge.
This year's event will feature several gardens on a strollable route, special appearances by gardening experts Jo Brichetto (Certified Tennessee Naturalist) and Dr. Ellie Lopez ("The Bug Doctor"), and two extra-special historical sites!
PLEASE NOTE: The garden portion of the tour is approximately one mile, exclusive of Love Circle hill. Due to stepping stones and some irregular and narrow paths, walking shoes are recommended. While walking the garden route can be done, one or two sites lie on hills or the perimeter of the neighborhood, and some ticketholders may prefer driving. The gardens are not wheelchair or stroller accessible. Animals are not allowed. HWEN may take photographs of this event for promotional purposes; your ticket purchase acknowledges that your likeness may appear in a photograph.
* Also, please note that all ticket sales are final and refunds will not be given for any reason. The Garden Tour is a rain or shine event. In the event of weather so severe that the May 14 tour has to be completely cancelled for safety reasons, there may be a smaller tour on May 21. Any updates will be published on the HWEN website, hwen.org.
